• NRC needs to get cracking and deliver projects on the ground
• Deliver NEEDS not WANTS 
• Protect our harbours and rivers - build sound stormwater management infrastructure to protect people, businesses, communities and property  - Kaeo, Waipapa, Kawakawa and everything in between!
• Keep our roads open!
• Protect our heritage buildings!
• NRC must deliver land protection projects instead of just getting reports and proposals written. There is no time like the present to get work done to retain stormwater, reduce streambank erosion and creating sediment deposition zones that reduce the sediment loads entering our harbours
• Biosecurity focus is needed to control the spread of Madagascar Ragwort. It is well established in the very Far North and has the potential to invade the rest of the North Island and top of the South Island. There is not blanket control available for this toxic weed, we must find a suitable bio control.
• I support keeping decision making local. Use collaboration with our local communities, using good information to make sound decisions.
